Accolades & Awards

Annelise’s work and passion has seen her presented with several awards and accolades dating back to 2002 when she won “Pretoria News Business Woman of the Year”.

Since then she has won the prestigious CEO award as “Most influential Woman in Business and Government” in the SME section for being the brain behind Casual Day, which she launched in 1995. Her inspiration, energy, and perseverance drove this project to become the most successful fundraising campaign at the time by raising more than R170 million for persons with disabilities.

Annelise’s inimitable contribution of more than 30 years of excellent service in South Africa’s charity sector, as well as her innovative concept of National Tekkie Tax Day, were recognised with a finalist position by The Southern Africa Institute of Fundraising for “Fundraiser of the Year”.

In August 2014 she was announced Country Winner as “Africa’s Most Influential Woman in Business and Government”. She won this award for the highly successful Tekkie Tax campaign as well as her innovative NGO Empowerment program.

In November 2018, Annelise was honoured by CEO Global as the continent winner with the prestigious award as “Most Influential Woman in Business and Government” for her current training and personal development program.
